The brand's visual identity, conceived by Cansu Dagbagli Ferreira, is a testament to the power of thoughtful design in creating a distinctive market presence.

The inception of EcoHiny's brand direction was a creative play on its distinctive name. The brand's symbol, a peach, is not just a quirky visual element but a representation of the product's softness and natural origins. Cansu Dagbagli Ferreira's choice of a deep blueish-green hue paired with peach tones breaks away from the typical bright green associated with eco-products, carving out a unique identity that speaks of fun and sustainability.

Typography plays a crucial role in the brand's approachability, with a modern sans-serif font ensuring legibility across various platforms, particularly online where the brand thrives. The packaging design, with its prominent display of product name and features, caters to the digital consumer, ensuring that the brand stands out in the competitive e-commerce landscape.

EcoHiny's commitment to sustainability is evident in its product line, which boasts 100% organic bamboo toilet paper that is FSC certified and boasts a softness comparable to a feather. The brand's personality shines through as young, playful, and bold, with a minimalistic branding approach that emphasizes its eco-friendly ethos.

The design process, guided by the Diverge and Converge method, was digitally executed using Adobe Creative Suite, culminating in the production of physical items through the 4-color printing technique. This meticulous process ensured consistency across all branding materials, from toilet paper wraps to shipping boxes, available in three sizes to cater to various consumer needs.

One of the significant challenges faced by the design team was achieving color consistency across different materials. Despite selecting an appropriate Pantone color, the wraps and boxes reacted differently due to their distinct material properties. This hurdle was overcome through careful adjustments during the trial print phase, ensuring a seamless color match that upheld the brand's visual integrity.

In conclusion, EcoHiny's design journey, from April 2022 to its launch in May 2023, was marked by a dedication to differentiating the brand through a unique color palette and a playful yet eco-conscious brand personality. The result is a product that not only meets the functional needs of consumers but also resonates with them on an emotional level, establishing EcoHiny as a cool and fun presence in the bathroom product market. This innovative approach has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by the brand's Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design for 2024, a prestigious accolade that celebrates exceptional design and innovation.
